long long day. started bright and early at springvale market for some shopping. only problem was that we got there 1hour before it opened up. so off to the viet bakery for a pork roll followed by a viet style ice coffee and one too many cigarettes for the morning.
then it was off to the land of food shopping. so many good things for such a low price i was blown away. we ended up spending only $35 for three bags full of meats, fish and produce. the aim for today was to have some bits and pieces tat we hadn't tried before so we grabbed a couple of lamb hearts along with tripe, chicken giblets and australian salmon and some small banana prawns. along with a huge amount of veggies a juicy looking mango we were set for a full day of cooking, eating and drinking.
and did we cook, eat and drink. we started cooking at 9am and eating from 1130 all the way through till 8. i think we ended up with 7 dishes. each one unique and very tasty.
i did take pictures but i'm so fucked from such an early morning and never ending eating that getting my camera and uploading them is already too much for me to do.
