so i've decided to look for work as an instrumental teacher in international schools through out japan as a back up option.

it's been one day and i've already got a reply from one that is showing a little bit of interest.

that's all. nothing more. i'm going to go and eat and go to work...

the tote will die today. the final gig ever at the venue and there's no more rock in melbourne. no exaggeration here ether. there literally will be no more true rock in melbourne.

the car is gone. feels funny. can't really get anywhere now except on my push bike... it already took 30mins to get into town by car. now i have to plan going out a bit better with trains and trams and all that shit as well...

i guess the upside is that i'm one step closer to having my japan funding sorted out.

damn you work and internet and tv and coffee and cake. i need to study...

was going to write but i'm feeling too lazy. i did leave the house for a change to watch sherlock holmes though. that was well wroth it. now to forget about the amount of work i have to do tomorrow and enjoy my night of television viewings.

got home from work, tried to sleep, failed to sleep, got hungry, ate food, realized the sun was coming up, went back to bed, rolled over, opened up laptop, googled my own name in english and japanese to see what would come up.

still the same old shit as last time.

i really need to get to sleep, or next i'll be trying to hunt...

left the house, headed to the toff, watched vampillia who are over from osaka, japan do a kick ass set, watched mani neumeier do some of the most amazing free stuff i've seen in ages, and then some.

all in all a good night and a good first gig to see for the year.

two more days and it's back to work...

yep, it's a new year and i've already started it off well by cutting the tip off my finger by cooking a little drunk.

it's going to be a good year.

another 6hours and this year ends and a new one begins here in melbourne.

problem is that i don't feel any need or urge to go out and party. i just want to sit around, read my books and maybe get some more study out of the way.

i don't know what's wrong with me... i suppose i will make my way to a party...
