Reading your journal, you say you think (sort of, you're not quite sure) of yourself as conservative, yet you had trouble deciding whom to vote for a week ago?

If you have trouble judging whom to vote for when the ideological differences between Bush and Kerry were so clear, what makes you want to be part of SG Conservatives?

Just asking, because it doesn't make much sense to me. This is probably the reason why you're having problems getting in. I have to wonder, if your own political views are so nebulous, even to YOU.........why do you want to join such a partisan political group?

The magazine was Pat Buchanan's American Conservative magazine. But even Buchanan ended up endorsing Bush even while his employees endorsed Kerry.


i've said this to SB and freckle before, but i really don't get you guys (the group) sometimes. i mean, here is what could happen if i were allowed to join the group.

A) this turns out to be a ruse on my part, and i come in there shouting anti-right platitudes, at which point i am kicked out and anything that i ever say in CE is looked at through a magnifying glass by you guys, or

B) i become a productive member of the group

i don't see much room for anything else to happen

If you want to galvanize your worldview, honestly, SGconservatives is about the worst place to do so. It's dead as a doornail compared to the blogs. Amazing things are happening on the internet as the mainstream media has shot its wad trying to defeat Bush. Very exciting times., especially when coupled with the Democrats' utter defeat Read all of these, several times a day:
