I have had many ups and downs lately with finding out about my dad's cancer. On Monday we celebrated his 63rd birthday, and I hope to have many more with him. He started ten days of radiation treatments for his prostate cancer on Tuesday. I will be taking him to one of them this coming Monday. He seems very strong and I ask myself if I would be able to handle the things he is going through as well as he is.

The good news for the week is that my youngest sister is going to be having a baby. She told the whole family on Thursday, quite the Valentine's Day gift for her husband. She is only 6 weeks along, and we are all very happy for her. With this news now I have three sisters that will be having babies this year. I am sure Christmas 2013 will be very busy with all the infants around.
