Watching the news on the Middle East is very depressing. I hope that you and your family are safe and that your home is not blown up.

Take care.

Hey you ok man ? That last message you posted was about five days ago now. It doesn't look good over there on the news. I know I've been absent on here for a while but when this stuff errupted you were the first thing that came to mind. I know when you had that last crisis over there (it seems minor compared to this though) you said stuff like that didn't phase you and that you grew up with explosions all the time, but this seems a bit more extreme, then what is even normal over there. Hope you're ok. Thanks for the birthday wishes back in April.

I never imagined bombing like this in Lebanon. The BBC news showed civilians killed as the were driving away from their village and the infrastucture of Lebanon being reduced to rubble.

What Hezbullah did was wrong, but the punishment being metered out is out of proportion and being paid by the wrong people...

then you get used to it and even the loudest thunder doesnt bother you.its the same with bombs.
I got used to them now.
while I was sleeping some heavy bombs exploded making my whole room shake. I openned my eyed I cursed a bit for not letting me...

I've been thinking of you - and the several hundred "cousins" I have in Lebanon. I can't even bring myself to read the whole news reports. Somewhere between rage and sadness and helplessness my mind sort of turns off. It isn't easy for people to understand my reaction either.... Most just think (if they bother to think) that it's just more violence in a notoriously violent region of the world. But I know you. And I share blood with many there. Blood.

Please stay safe.

We are at war again it seems.
at the moment israel is bombing the infrastructure, bridges, phones stations, electrical stations.airport.
the airpot is just 6 km away from me (4 miles).
so... if I dont come for a month or so... it means that the electricity is gone and I cant log back.

I was thinking of you while watching the news today. I never imagined a situation like this, Lebanon seemed to be recovering from its past troubles. It seems to like the kidnapping of the soldiers was a very stupid act and inocent people are paying for the wrong done by a few people.

I have my fingers crossed for you.
m0unds:
take care of yourself dude. you're in our thoughts.

I'm digging the new SG as well, but I can't find the bookmarks section that allows you to see who has updated journals. It was easy to find before. So far that it is the only complaint.

It isn't that hard to handle as a first bike. The ride is higher than I was expecting so it is a little awkward but that will be solved in time. I have very, very little riding experience that was done on some really small bikes.
