sorry about the crazy post previously.
I just never got hurt by someone this much before in my life. it was like a direct hit to the balls with a steal toe boot.
here is what happened...
I had a crush on someone with a long distance relationship (now she moved out of Edinburgh), we were close in summer, always out together, dancing, cafes, hanging out (nothing more), we used to talk for hours, and she knew I liked her, but she was in love with her boyfriend, so its a no go...anyway she left.
the problem is she was a masters student in here and like all masters students she had to submit her dissertation at the end of august.
Around the end of July her computer got friend, and she had to send it to get it repaired, she either had to work in the lab all night, or wouldnt be able to deliver her thing in time.
I have two laptops, so I formatted my old laptop , put windows (bleuh), and everything she needs on it and gave it to her so she can work from home.it was all good.
the problem is...some days ago, my new computer got fried,so I sent ti to get repaired.
So I needed to use the old one, I hate windows, so I wanted to install Linux on it, so I picked ubuntu , simplest linux to install and shoved it in the cd tray. while installing it told me that it detected windows and it will back up the files on the linux partition, I agreed.
when I went into Linux, I saw it backed up her files as well, which included the final version of her dissertation.
I got curious, I openned the dissertation and started reading, but didn't go passed the acknowledgement, she basically thanked her supervisor, a few friends who helped her on different things, her boyfriend for support, and her parents as well.
where the fuck was I? you were writting on my laptop!!!!!!!
