Following appoggiatura's comment i decided to expand what I think happens when women get too much power.

All women in the world want to get more power, no matter how much they work they usually reach a place that they can never be promoted from anymore because its reserved for men (even if its not in the companies rules or whateve) its just how this stupid world works.
Usually women in low to medium positions of power are great, friendly, understanding etc... but the minite they pass that and they reach high positions, they start being bitchy, cruel and totally insensitive. why?
I think I know why: they want to prove to men that they are not emotional people (as the "fake" reason that this world never gives them power) so they become "evil", just to show men how non emotional they can be.
The funny thing, being bitchy, and cruel IS emotional. So instead of showing that can be trusted with high positions of power, Men think: "damn they are still not in the ultimate position and they are so cruel, can you image if the reach the top positions?"... thus they lose trust in their abilities to work correctly and the loop instead of being broken, its fortified.
So women you want higher power? Be Humane, be fair, be good to your fellow humans. Cruelty will just leave you where you are.
Bleh.

I am so sorry to hear that happened!!!! While I would love to say I disagree, because I have worked for several women in "high" positions who were AMAZING (including the Chancellor of the state higher ed system) - it doesn't hold true for all women. As a matter of fact, she (the one I worked for) is retiring and they have appointed a BITCH to replace - but I don't work there anymore (even though I still work in higher ed.) Some women think to get ahead they have to be bitches and thats what they do - I think the major thing about today's feminists is that they have forgotten the word "feminine" is still part of being a woman and being a feminist. But then again, being humane isn't a feminine trait - it's one that all people should possess - unfortunately alot don't. I am really sorry to hear about what happened. I am hoping you can appeal - kiss
