Quiet Place


I have built myself a quiet place,
A place to wonder of my doubts,
Peacefulness is the reason
For this quiet place.

In this place I sit,
Hours with no end,
To listen,
For what is about my quiet place.

No other
That I have cast my sight upon,
Are quite like my quiet place.

Someday possibly,
I will venture from this quiet place,
To construct another,
With as much enthusiasm.

To resemble my quiet place,
Once again to listen,
For what may try to enter,
My quiet place.
