So May is off to a rocking start. This is gonna be a busy month for me. This friday, I'm taking a 1/2 day from work to pop over to Oahu for the weekend. Planning on getting a haircut, and some new glasses. Should have the indy filmmaker look done in time for a lecture with Bryan Singer, the director of the Usual Suspects, and the recent Xmen movies. Also, fate smiles on me, as I have been invited to go to dinner with some of the people working on UH's film school. In short, I get to go to dinner with a bunch of administrators, Singer, and the former head of Columbia/Tristar.
Man, even living in Hawaii, I can't get away from hollywood. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something.
Alnyway, later this month, I am getting shipped off to Japan, and immediately after my return, I am to be the best man in my friend's wedding. I just got a call from him telling me that there is a star trek convention on his wedding day, and that we should be able to attend, at least for the first part of the day. So, batchelor party and rehersal dinner on friday, star trek convention and wedding on saturday. Bizarre, I tell you.
