I don't think that I have ever been dumped before. It sucks. It's funny how stuff like this can happen out of the blue. One day, your life is going fine, you feel like everything is in place, and going as it should be. Then you come home, and your significant other has taken all of their stuff, and just left.

Maybe she was right to leave. I'm really not as ripped up as a I should be. the worst parts of this so far have been the shock and the paperwork. I've spent the last few days shutting down joint bank accounts, taking her off insurance policies, etc.

The sad part is that she's one of my only friends here in the boonies, so I'll probably still end up hanging out with her. I'm really hoping that I can be adult enough to handle that.
