Ok, not to keep harping on the lava, but this weekend the flows were amazing. Seriously hot stuff. I tried to go in with a rock hammer to get a glob into a coffee cup, but I didn't have any gloves, so I pretty much just ended up burning the hair off of my knuckels. What a trip. Got some interesting photos, but a lot of the shots ended up being kind of blurry, and the ones where we were standing in front of the flows, where we used the flash, look like cut-and-paste photoshop jobs. Next time, I will take the damn tripod with me, and get some good long exposure shots.

Ah well, I suppose I should get it together and get to werk.
