Sick, sick, sick. I hate being sick. I think it's been like 2 years since I last had a cold. This probably has to do with not getting any sleep on sunday night - monday morning. Sucks. Oh well, at least I had an excuse not to go in to work today. I hope I can shake this shit before this weekend.

I was a total Zombie yesterday. Lack of sleep does odd things to me. By the end of the day I was starting to get the Jacob's Ladder vibes. You know it's bad when the hallucinations start. Still, I ended up sleeping really, really well last night.

Ah well, time to get showered up and go listen to bickering Japanese people again.

Ok, so flying back from Honolulu at 5:20 was a questionable judgement call. On the one hand, I was too out of it to have my normal pre-takeoff panic attack. On the other, I had to get up at 3:30. Stuff to do on this trip: Get a haircut (shed my current bacon-Elvis look), get a new pair of Diesels (to replace the ones I killed with batter acid, that's right, I'm a real man. A real stuipd man), get toasted a couple of times and wander around Honolulu like a drunken idiot.

Gaak. It's a saturday, and I have to go to work. 8-4. ick.

I think there was an earthquake this morning. Hopefully it wasn't a shockwave from something blowing up. It's amazing how the current global situation brings back all of the cold war angst that I grew up with.

Yet another new laptop today. p4 2.2, 1024 megs of ram, radeon 7500, 60 gig HD, DVD/cdrw combo. Somehow though, I wish it was a mac. Oh well, at least the keyboard is nice.
