So, I haven't had this much running through my mind in quite some time. Oh, the curve balls that life throws at you. However, there are three things that always seem accommodating when these situations reveal themselves; my son, reading, and painting. And yes, I have a son. You would have never guessed.

This is the one thing that holds my life into place; that lets me know that I'm living in reality.

However unattractive you may find it, he keeps my feet planted in the soil. He keeps me thriving for accomplishment. He keeps my head on straight and shows me what direction I need to follow. This is truly, the love of my life and the reason my heart still palpitates in the manner that it should.
