Can't remember if I responded to the last comment.. so maybe i'm repeating myself? Oh well.
Queenstown is probably one of the biggest tourist attractions in New Zealand - it's a beautiful place, the scenery is magnificent, skiing in winter and the Franz Joseph glacier is pretty spectacular to hike up. It is rather expensive as of course we try to rip tourists for as much as we can, but nothing beats kiwi hospitality. It's where bungy jumping was invented, you can jump from the first one created - if you're into that sort of thing.
If you do end up coming to New Zealand, you probably shouldn't miss the Bay of Islands (dolphins) or the Malborough Sounds (http://www.marlboroughsounds.co.nz/marlboroughsounds.php) which is just astonishingly beautiful. In fact the one place you can do without seeing is Auckland - my hometown - but a pretty pointless place with not much going for it. Of course the beaches are alright but nothing in comparison with the rest of the country. South Island is preferable to the North for scenery and tourist attractions.. Yeah I'm not sure why i'm acting as your travel agent but I guess as I do live here i'm easily able to point you in the right direction so I may as well do so...
A kiwi summer is something I think everyone should experience - nothing beats BBQ's and the beach, maybe it's because I grew up here but there seems to be something you can't experience anywhere else. And unlike Australia you don't have to watch out for snakes or crocodiles. Or listen to Australians. Jk..
Sorry about the length of this, I guess i'm in a talkative mood. Hope you're doing well
I heard that your sign is the star placement on the day you were born. That doesn't mean we have to change, right? You were born in that sign and remain in that sign? Maybe I don't get it! Either way, I'm still a virgo but I'm right on the Virgo Leo cusp!
