I lost a contact lens this week... a $250 contact lens. Stupid hard lenses. I have decided I am going to try soft lenses, since everyone seems to swear by them. They are not particularly suited to my astigmatism, but apparently they are workable. Most importantly they will not cost me $250 to replace if i lose one.
Its been fucking cold this week, which means we finally have some snow up in hills. Looking at doing a day drip inthe next couple of weeks with some friends... hopefully the snow will be a bit better by then.

I have astigmatism in both eyes and am pretty much legally blind- I use soft lens made for that.....much cheaper and feel a lot better!
I got Lasik and it didn't work grrrr so gotta go back and get it again in 4 months
