my sister lives in san francisco and her apt caught on fire. i always said those buildings were too close together! she is staying with my best friend until stuff gets fixed up by her landlord.

My dad was a fireman for 25 years in SF. Those older buildings, if one goes up, a few will go up. The older buildings don't have any kind of sprinkler systems or other fire prevention in them. Your sis is damn lucky that she got out OK.
