Hey all,
Does anyone else have a bitch of a boss more than mine? Here's the situation...I was working nights and had 3 nights to go before my last working day. Anyhow, for some god awful reason (of which I still have yet to be officially informed) she thinks I did something wrong (which, no, I didn't because the night in question I had absolutely NO work to do). So, she gets on her high horse (which she does a lot) and says that I will be moving to days and that I must work for another 6 days before I leave.
What does this mean? First I have to 180 degree my sleep schedule. No problem since I've been sleeping all funky lately anyhow. Then instead of being done early today, I still have 4 more days of work. This means I get to spend almost no time with my great landlords, have much less time to prepare my stuff to ship home, and, most importantly, it means I have to work with the she-bitch who I can't stand in the first place. On top of that, now it means that I have to work for an extra 5 days after what I was expecting and I was counting down the days like you wouldn't believe!!
So, now I will have almost no rest before heading home to the States and so I'll be that much more out of it from the jet lag. It'll mean I have to 180 my sleep schedule AGAIN to get back in the groove back home. UGH! I hate my boss!!
Sorry, I figure this is as good a place as any to vent since it seems like more of us do so than anything. It really sucks when you're stuck in a job with a horrible sense of respect! I am so glad I know when I am going home instead of having to deal with this crap constantly!
So, how's everyone out there? Anything exciting going on? I've just got a few more things to do here and I'm ready to rock and roll. I've got to pick out my last 5 days worth of clothes and pack everything else up. I'm just hoping that I have enough to get me by when I get home or else I might need to buy some new pants before my packages come home. I'm trying to get on the plane with as little carry on as humanly possible. Of course my dog will be the biggest thing but that's OK, it's not luggage and I doubt he swallowed a bomb when I wasn't looking!!
This is probably my last post until I get back home so feel free to leave me comments when you get the time. I'm a glutton for comments! Time for me to go get some more packing done!!
