Good luck on the mix cd making. I really should get into that someday. I mean I love music, but I never got into the whole burning CDs thing. But, I'm all about buying burned DVDs of stuff on t.v. that I think won't come out legimately or am tired of waiting for it to. I have a bizarre stance on piracy like that. smile

I've notived that you've started to get irritated with quite a few of them. On one hand I can't blame ya and I kinda agree but it wouldn't be good for the group to ban them all. No one has really done anything worth banning. Like poor Natas13... I agree that he really should just politely bow out or at the very least refrain from mushing on about his great new relationship. Once was enough. More power to him and I wish him well. But I'm here to rant and associate with people who rant... that's just me though.

I'm not sure what has to be done to get me set up as mod though.

I'm glad your computer problems got solved. I never bothered with tech support. If my computer quits working, I either try to fix it myself with my limited knowledge of computers. I basically know just enough to be dangerous. tongue

It that doesn't work, I ask my mom who used to work with computers or take it in to the IT guy at work I'm friends with. If that doesn't work, I take it to this great computer store I bought it at, EMicroX

Since you are having such problems with Dell. You will probably find
this funny. Click on Tech Support 1 and 2. I should warn you, it's very unkind about foreign outsourcing and kinda makes fun of people from India.

Like they all said, check jumpers..
my question is does the bios see it but windows dont?..
if thats the case all HD's come unpartitiond..
meening it will be there.. windows will "see" that the drive is there but wont see that theres any space on it so it wont show up under my computer..
most HD's will come with a disk to format and partition the drive.. but I prefer to use partition magic..

another thing is how manny IDE/SATA controlers do you have on your mobo.. Cuz if its on a secondary device (IDE2 or 3) that could be a problem.. windows does not recognize most secondary controlers..
so your first 2 IDE channels (0,1) will work fine but anything on channel 2 or 3 aswell as any SATA devices may not be seen..

may have just confused the crap out of you but If you have any questions just ask, and ill try to help you out
