after recent minor events, I realize that I desperately need to NOT like the kind of girls I like anymore, becuase that shit is never gonna happen.
it just isn't

I could make that a new years resolution, but let's face it, I've made that resolution every year since #32 and it hasn't worked out yet. At least I didn't actually meet anyone last year.

no, my new years resolution is to get a social life that involves people within the state of NY (because I can't afford to take the train to Philadelphia every couple of months anymore, nor can I afford the kind of road trip required to hang with some of my best freinds). .
. .that means, leaving Westchester Country (oh boy, Cory bitching about his town again) as often as possible.
I also plan to start going to the city a lot more often. I'm not missing shows this year. at all. fuck that shit. I only went to 4 shows last year. Why? because those are the only ones people wanted to go to with me. There's only one other person in my town between the ages of 13 and 65, and he's probably moving to Cali this year. I'm actually gonna have to meet people at shows now (oh man. . . . .that's SUCH a lost cause).

Two years of being a recluse was nice, but. . .well. . .that sort of thing isn't enjoyable forever.

besides, I'm never gonna find people to start a band with in this hole
