an excerpt, from my idea for a movie "Excommunication"
NARRATION
Well, I'd cleared everything up. . . . .except this one last thing. I had an aquaintence. A beautiful stranger I kept running into every so often. These are usually easier to get rid of. . .except. . .I kept on running into her. Half the time I run into her, she's with her boyfriend anyway. I don't dislike her yet though. It's not a crush yet.. .so in this case, we can be extra polite about things.
LEONA
hey, how've you been?
LANCE
oh, not bad not bad, yourself?
LEONA
good good
LANCE
Awesome. Hey, look, you're not a bad person. You're alright. We get along and everything, but the fact of the matter is I have no shot. So, it makes no sense for me to get close to you. At all. Ya see?
LEONA
. . . . .I think
LANCE
It's kind of abrupt, but it's better I got that out now. Nice meeting you though. Bye.
LEONA
. . . .okay? bye

it seems like a lot of folks are dropping like flies. and they either come back or they don't. i don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.
