I saw the Deftones on Saturday
my weekend was pretty fucking excellent
even if I did have to sit through Dir en Grey playing all their bad shit and generally being annoying
(oh, and I'm pretty sure I know why getting tickets for this show was such a pain in the ass. . . . . . Dir en grey fangirls hogged the damn website buying all the tickets.. . .I'm sure of this, because a fucking TON of them were leaving after they walked off stage. . .wheeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Gotta watch those DEG kids. They got "saku" voted #1 video on Headbangers Ball. I'm pretty sure that's why they moved the show an hour later, because that must've made them realize "alright, there's too many little kids watching at that hour. . make it later". Dir fans are the type of people who would attempt "denial of service" attacks I'm sure. I think Something Awful should fuck with them, just to see what happens).
Fall of Troy are fucking cool though.
and thier guitarist came on in the middle of "7 words" and they all burst into a cover of "say it ain't so".
