it never ceases to amaze me how great it can get. got a letter from the IRS today.
such fine people they are, and such an upstanding part of our wonderful country. seems that there was a tiny error on my taxes from 2003. it was just a friendly note to tell me that i owe nearly $1300. wow. it really brought a tear to my eye, thinking about all the government employees, local and nationwide, that may have had to take a cut in pay due to my mistake. it warmed my heart that they, with the utmost understanding, gave me an entire month to pay off my debt. an entire month! and there i was, greedily hoarding all this money with only my interests in mind.... i have been brought to justice. the amercican way, god bless us.
