some people like the stifling heat.
what is stifling isn't so much the heat but the humility.
all within a 40 minute bike ride, from which i am stil sweating,
i suffered a stroke, cardiac arrest, emphysema, cirrhosis, leg cancer, death, rebirth and lateral transcendence, which led me right back to this hellish heat of kansas.
i rode back home and am about to shower.
my friend lindsay is a triathelete. i can't bitch about this to her.
i don't get 'runner's high'. mine's a little different, and it doesn't make me feel like running.
in no more than three years, i will receive a piece of paper that will allow me to go almost wherever i want to be while i do what i love to do.
like a magic carpet.
like a golden ticket.
like a diploma.
