You all owe it to yourselves to see The Simpsons Movie. I owe it to myself to see it again. Maybe this weekend. Hmmm....

Work may be pretty slack for me this week. I'm doing something called a Kaizan event, which basically means I'm with a group and we're trying to determine how to make a part of the factory run better. We're looking at the process of cleaning the machines that spray on the stain that protects the wood we use. The stain gets all gunked up on the inside, and it takes upwards of six hours to clean it. Watching the process today, I was sorely tempted to go to the Discovery Channel website and write to the Dirty Jobs folks. I always thought Mike Roe was a bit of a cockbite when I watched the show, but this is a pretty dirty job. Fuck, it's grosser than that time he went to a fucking candy shop....

And if I'm moving, it'll probably happen in the next month. At this point, I'm sort of dreading the process and would almost rather stay put for a year (unless I get to move to North Dakota, which would put me close enough to shoot with rpg!)

I'm reading The Three Musketeers right now. It's delightful. I love the style, which is one of the reasons I love Brust for emulating it so very very well. Even though I have two Dune novels to read, I'm sorely tempted to pick up Twenty Years After, and the Viscount of Braglionne. I really loved The Count of Monte Cristo, so more Dumas would be just awesome for me.

And... that's really all I have. I must resist the urge to eat lots of ice cream and raspberries before bed. Why? No reason, I just probably shouldn't, even though I really really want to.
