The reason for this blog is simple.. TODAY is my birthday! As each year goes by, I realize that it really doesn't hold much significance anymore. NO parties.. NO cards.. NO presents.. if it weren't for Facebook notifying people, this "special day" probably wouldn't be remembered but by a few people. I don't seem to mind. Maybe that is wrong of me. I can't blame anyone.. I am guilty of the same thing to some extent. I keep many people's birthdays on my calendar on my phone so I won't forget them and then I will send them a message or call to wish them a Happy Birthday.
Things might be different if I was around people who cared. I moved to Florida to help a friend out. She now doesn't really need my assistance. Other than her, I only know fellow employees that I work with. None of them I really give out information like my birthday to.
