OK.. so last Saturday evening I left home in Florida and traveled 950 miles to surprise my family for their Christmas gathering on Sunday... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
I have been staying with my brother and sister-in-law for the week just relaxing and hanging out. Got to watch some Washington Capitals hockey games with my brother like we used to do all the time when I lived with them. Hard to believe it has been 1 1/2 years since I have seen the family. Got a few presents which was a surprise as I wasn't expecting anything. Picked up a few things of mine that were at my brothers including a bunch of dvds. I have always been a big movie person and purchaser of lots and lots of dvds and/or blurays.
Today I start my 950 mile drive back home. Should be different as I am usually driving at night which is a lot easier in my opinion. Will be more sun, warmer weather and traffic to deal with than usual. Hopefully it won't add to much time onto my drive. Hope to reach home in Florida sometime in the early AM. Get to relax then prepare for a very important job interview on Monday afternoon. Can't wait!
