This post is long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long OVERDUE!

I probably don't have many friends left who would actually read this but here it goes...

2010 has been BY FAR my worst year ever. If you care to read about the bad happenings, feel free to click on the SPOILERS link below...

  • Rear brakes locked up on my Jeep. Cheaper to get a used axle and replace rather than replacing all the brake components.

  • Had almost 3ft of snow and was unable to work duing that time. Had to use all of my saved up leave in order to get paid.

  • Took 6 weeks to get my Jeep back since I went to somewhere "inexpensive". When I got it back, over $1000 worth of stuff was stolen out of it since I didn't expect it to be in the shop for so long I didn't remove everything from it.

  • Shoveled a TON of snow and pulled something in my back. Worked a whole week in alot of pain. Because I wouldn't go running around for my boss he said I couldn't return to work until my back was better and a doctor cleared me. This resulted in a week of me not getting paid.

  • My boss keeps dumping more work on me and writing me up for every little thing. Most of which are petty.

  • Went to the ER with chest pains and was kept overnight having tests run. Was off of work for 5 weeks until all the results came back and was cleared to resume my stressful job by the doctor. Didn't get paid for 4 weeks of that since I had no leave left and my company apparently doesn't provide us supervisors with disability. Although our lowest employees have it.




I have been doing alot of thinking lately...

My job is just draining me. After going 4 weeks without a paycheck, it has forced me to work a 2nd job. The 7 day a week work-week is beginning to take a toll on me. I am looking into changing jobs. I just don't enjoy it anymore and I am a firm believer in doing what you enjoy.

I don't have many friends left anymore. They are all doing their thing. Not that I hung out with them all the time but I did exchange texts or phone calls.

I just need a change of pace.

On the bright side, there are a few things to be thankful for...


  • I have a great friend who all I do is exchange texts. I have talked to her in person only a few times but that is OK with us. She is a great person and is off at Penn State.

  • I got season tickets to our local Minor League Baseball Team.. The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs! Didn't go to as many games as I wanted and hope to change that this year as I am renewing my season tickets for next year. Hopefully I can find someone to hang out with me there on a regular basis.

  • Been exchanging messages with a few people on here who are just AMAZING. Thank you Autumnslastlite & Luther

Man, it sounds like your company is trying to pull one over on you. =( I'm a firm believer in doing what you love as well so I'd say get out of there and find somewhere you enjoy. I hope this upcoming year treats you better. You're definitely a nice guy. =)
