I joined this site along time ago when a friend of mine mentioned it but never really was active until recently.

Why you ask? Maybe it has to do with the following...

I never noticed how many cellphone tower there were everywhere until I worked for a telecom lawfirm.
I never noticed how many airplanes were in the sky around where I live until I saw the movie "Tin Cup".
I never saw so many Jeep Grand Cherokees until I started driving one.

And, I never noticed how Beautiful and Amazing Tattoos are until I got one.

Last Janauary (2008) one of my best friends was diagnosed with a rare form of Liver Cancer. She loved Ireland and had some Irish blood in her ancestry. She always wanted to visit Ireland as soon as other things in her life settled down like her wedding. Because it was something I would have never done before, I thought getting a tattoo would be a way to try and cheer her up and show my support of her during this tough time she was going through. To make a long story short... she had surgery, was in/out of the hospital for months, went through with her wedding and passed away in November. Recently I was able to afford to get the tattoo updated and it is now a tribute to an amazing person and friend, not that I need a reason to remember her.

I have talked about this to a few people and wanted to post a pic of it (not the best pic)...
