Today I finally did my first 20 miles on my own little motorcycle! Im really tired but it was really really fun! I love it!! Im so glad its finally working, wellenough for me to ride it anyway! Im going out tomorrow, not sure where too but somewhere for a good long ride somewhere. im excitedddddd!!!

I chuffing hate power cuts, we once had an entire day without power right when I was in the middle of finishing off my art exam at home. Ended up turning out crap because of it.

Hope the bike does finally get sorted, but at least you have it in your possession again. You will have to duel the stores champion like in the Simpson's episode with the bike gang if it stops working. When you beat them you can force them to be your slaves.

i'm surprised you're having problems. i did with my 1970 CT90 mostly because it's so damned old and it had been poorly restored and then its problems poorly diagnosed by yours truly.
but the CX is an '82 and it runs like butter for the most part. it's got its little quirks but it's in very nice condition overall. if you are in the market that's a great bike and they can usually be had fairly cheap. plus, it's an engine that'll hold up well to highway use and it's got a drive shaft, to boot. also, there's a whole club devoted to it over on that side of the pond with a fanatical following.
your bike is looking quite nice at this point. mine's more than a bit of a rat. i'm about to mount old ammo cans on it for boxes.

I too went for a small loan at the bank yesterday of 100k but got told to piss off in no uncertain terms.............

Bikes are as follows;

Aprilia Tuono (big bike = 1000cc's)

Suzuki Goose (little ride to work bike when ready = 350cc)

Bikes to do up and sell are 2 Honda NSR125's, currently causing me mondo probs trying to work on when its soooooo cold outdoors!

What sort of bike are you after now (via the bank of Dad)??
