My last day at the chocolate store was today. I should be more motivated to do homework, to read or write or study french. Instead I want to do many things I cannot do tonight, so I might just dye my hair and start typing up a bibliography.

That counts as work, yes?

Hair dying is not so much work as it is an avocation, and a rich and worthwhile one at that. Bibliographies are hateful necessities, and as such, are the very essence of work. On the balance, you're being very dutiful. biggrin

I think that I update my journal slightly more often than my lj...but this is, at least, more colorful.

A very reasonable Friday. Read, loved my kittens. tried to be a responsible tutor and called my students for scheduling blahs, failed to make any new appts.

"Dead Man" is not the coolest film ever and sometimes when your dreams tell you to go to Goodwill, there still won't be any of the interesting things you've been waiting to find. Summer is ending. I can feel school stress but I've not yet succumbed.

Come on. Dead Man's not that bad. If you can get past the 10 minute dialogue-free train scene at the beginning, you're basically home free.

It's good to be back on SG. It has been a while since I've had so much desire to seduce the girl next door and to do my situps every day!

School starts up again in a few weeks, but before I launch headlong back into feminist theory, I'm also hoping to meet a few nice people here.
