well...let's see, have you ever had that period of days when you slow down just enough to realize how exhausted you are? Well, that pretty much sums up my New Year's. I stayed home NYE with the intention of going out for a few drinks that night- after showering and getting ready, I had to accept that all I wanted to do was sleep and lay on the couch like I had done all day- and thus began my 3 day hiatus from life...Today is the first day I am leaving the house- other than a neccessary trip to safeway (kitty litter was DESPERATELY needed). There are many people I was supposed to see, and I apologize, but sometimes it is more about what your body and mind need. Hmm. I truly think that every now and again, the social nature of my career catches up with me and I just need to hideout from the world. i just wasn't planning on it being at the uber social time it happened. But here I am feeling like a whole new girl who (finally) got caught up on some serious sleep!!!
