Yesterday marked the official start of shopping for Burning Man! I am now the proud owner of a lovely parasol with Japanese blossoms, a big floppy hat (both to help protect my fair skin) some scarves for my hair, cheap fun jewelry that the desert can ravage and I won't care...I ♥ Clement street and the random shops with great cheap finds!! Today I am playing catch-up around the house before going to the gym!

I bought some fabric the other day. I wish I bought more, but I was feeling pretty ill so I cut it short. I have to go back. Plus, I actually have to sew stuff. I love buying all the fabric and notions to do sewing projects, it's the actual sewing i hate.
Hey, we need to get together ( ha, I just noticed together is to get her... don't mind me I'm loopy from being sick) and set up the shade structure. We need to see if we can do it with two people, and what we need to reinforce it and hold it down.
