SXSW was fucking great....i'm still recovering tho. we played three pretty good shows, two were fucking awesome, even tho our guitar player got shocked onstage saturday afternoon. shes ok, and the show besides that totally ruled. anyway, the highlights were seeing a ton of great bands including THE BASEBALL FURIES! (def. one of my favorite bands if not THE.) The Spits (fucking great, cant believe i don't have any of their records already) The Hunches, The MISTREATERS (those Milwaukee kids are f'n crazy) The Black lips (one of 'em ended up getting stitches!) i saw Tegan and Snow at Beerland the other day, but i was being shy again and didn't say hi, and then when i got up the nerve i was too busy catching up with an old friend to find them. hope their show was good...oh yeah, fucking GREG OBLIVIAN said we were good!!! i can die now. anyway, i met a shitload of awesome people, and had ssoooooooo much fun with friends from out of town. slept on a ridiculously small couch, never barfed once, and passed out last night with my shoes on. rock and roll, right? we have another show tomorrow...oy. so, yeah, i survived. and it ruled. can't wait till next year...
