To update, nothing has happened as yet on the creationist argument front. Class is tomorrow, and while I plan to question my instructor, I also plan to be calm and collected, not confrontational.

I spoke to a classmate who is under the impression that all is fine and I'm making a big deal out of nothing.

I also spoke to the head of my department and an instructor, who both told me, without knowing the specifics of the case, that instructors do not have to pass any of their curriculum by the department, and thus have a lot of academic teaching freedom. And basically, even if I complain, there is a good chance nothing will happen. And both the head and other instructor told me to talk to the offending instructor first, and make sure that I confirm that there is a problem, and make the instructor aware of it, so she can correct her behavior, if she sees fit.

hmm. More news to come tomorrow. In other news, physiology is going to be the death of me! GEEZ-US, that class is hard!!!!!!
