Took the house off the market last week, until early February when the market starts up again. Till then, to fill the void, I am repainting the "crazy" colored bathrooms that seem to turn off the conservative home buyers of this region. I picked a bland shade of neutral, and though I've done a nice job so far, it is depressing me. It sucks and I hate it, but it's helping me mentally let go of this home.
Merry Christmas y'all. Tomorrow afternoon/evening we're gong to my mom's house in Raleigh for an early Christmas eve, then the morning of the 24th, we're headed to Asheville to spend time with idjiit's family. Should be nice as usual. No snow though. Lol, in fact, It might not drop below th 50's, and well, that just doesn't seem right. Too California.

I don't think anybody was really in the holiday spirit this year... not depressed or anything, just not overflowing with love and gushing with mushiness. Perchance it will snow before it's 80 degrees, again...
