Yesterday was Idjiit's bday, as many of you well know. Thank you so much for all the bday wishes! I passed them on each individually, and he thanks each one of you!!
We had a really good dinner at Underground, which is just above Charlie Goodnight's on Morgan St. in Raleigh. Some of the freshest, most flavorful food in the triangle that we have found so far! A real gem.
It's a sign that you're in your 30's when your presents get boring. (Aside from those given by SG friends!!

My mom and her husband gave him a $100 bill to spend, his mother gave him a nifty new fangled electric kettle that boils water in like 1 minute, and I gave him a sweater (which doesn't fit him perfectly so it's being returned- damn shopping for that man. I could do a whole huge blog on that alone!) I also gave him some socks (he asked for them) and a new book. Are you still awake? Boring, I know. But what do you buy for a man who buys everything he wants himself??
But he did get a party.. Some pictures coming soon.
oh yeah, and I found out I got into grad school. I'll be earning a Masters of science in Horticulture with a focus on breeding, working with blueberries! Yay for me!
