I was just up there too. Crazy hot, and when it wasn't crazy hot, it was gushing down rain. Still, a nice change of pace from the city of oaks and jokes.

My rant was actually not about camping. It was another girl's story that set me off. I am generally of the opinion that people can do what they please as long as they don't shove it in my face. Unlike camping where the site was huge, this poor girl had nowhere to go at her event. She told people that she felt uncomfortable, and they called her a prude and told her she didn't belong on the site if she didn't expect this sort of thing at regional events. It was the most absurd thing I've ever heard.
I had a fabulous time hanging out with the SGNC crew on Saturday. kriss and not_tom are the hosts with the mosts, and always make us feel at home and welcome...our pooches included! (see profile pic)*
