Spent a decent part of the day cleaning out my attic, getting rid of things in preparation for my impending move..... found a few boxes of letters, particularly ones from my ex from when he was in rehab. I just sat down on the floor and read them until I just couldn't cry anymore. He passed away nearly 10 years ago and I can still feel the way his hands felt when they held me as we kissed, he had the deepest, sadest blue eyes I have ever seen, I can vividly picture the way he held his guitar and would sing Velevet Underground songs for me while I would lie in bed smoking cigarettes. I never had someone love me quite so much and cause me ever so much pain as he did. I forgive him, though, I know it wasn't he who wanted to hurt me...he was in way over his head with all the shit he got himself into.....
