In honor of Valentine's Day:

Since the beginning
of human thought
this planet has felt corruption.
It's black fingers
clutching at the world
like a fortune teller's ball,
slowly choking away it's life.
Nature plagued by the parasites
known as human beings.
We have the Midas touch,
but instead of gold
everything turns to lead.
Reverse alchemy is what we practice,
degrading everything.
We are the only species that obtains
the opposite of what we seek.
We look for love,
instead we receive pain.
Give a helping hand,
but find out we were used.
Everything is corrupt,
especially this poem.

Okay, now read that again and change corruption and corrupt to love, take away "black fingers" and put in "happy-go-lucky rainbow magic spirit fingers", "choking away it's life" to "huginating it to death", "plagued" to "infested", "parasite" to "love monkeys", "lead" to "love crackers of most happy moosey fate joy", take out the lines from "reverse alchemy" to "were used", and there you have my love poem!
