I've been avoiding what I would be great at because it's my Dad's occupation.  Our parent's shadows are a powerful thing, and I am the cookie-cutter son that wants to make his Dad proud on his own terms.  It wasn't until recently that my Father expressed his hopes that I would follow in his footsteps.  Trying my own direction hasn't worked, so I guess it's time to fall in line.  Out of all my brothers I know my Dad sees himself in me more than the others, and I definitely owe it to him.  So like every other text book case before me I'm going to follow my Father and hope that I find out it is my own path.  If not, the worst that will happen is I will have a really good job to spring off of.
