I once asked my Dad why he paid more attention to my brother's lives than mine while we grew up. My Dad gave me a simple and strong answer, "You didn't need me as much as they did."

Even as a small child he saw an undying strength in me that always kept me moving forward. I was talking to him today about how insane my emotions have been since I got off the meds. He said to me, "You'll get through this. If anyone can it's you."

Cliches aside, it's true. Our strength comes from our bond, and it just gets stronger. Same with my brothers and I. We'd do anything for each other, no questions asked...until later. I realized long ago that the greatest gift I could ever give some one is my family. I feel this is the reason why I want to get married at some day in the distant future.

This random blog was brought to you by the letter 3 and the number Joints.

I wrote this last night, and I like it, so I am posting it again.

"Let's, you and I, go run away,
we'll chase the sunrise for a day.
Forget why life ever held us down,
tune out all the distracting sounds.
Then, you and I, we can be free
to enjoy life as meant to be."

yea it'd be way more than i can afford. right now my health insurance is free where i work. so i figure that even though i only get paid just under $9 an hour, i'm saving a lot with my health insurance. and from i've researched, a lot of plans don't cover the treatment i'm on. which is around $4,00o a month.
one cool thing i just found out: after you work at my store for 3 years, you can get the health insurance no matter how many hours you work (otherwise it's just for full-timers). iv'e been there 2 years, so in another year, i'm thinking of just going part-time there and getting another job.

of course, that all depends on if i even stay here long enough for that to happen!
