Ahhhhh life. I had a meeting with my new boss and I always dread these closed door private meetings with management. This one was kick ass though. He told me what an asset I am to the company and he knows my time here may be limited but he really hopes I change my mind and stay. He said so many wonderful things to me and about me. I feel so loved. He even said if I need help he'll come over and change the locks when my ex finally moves out. My mortgage is through the credit union I work at and he got senior management to approve me keeping the house the way I want to, with out refinancing, which is going to save me around $2,500 and I get to keep my existing loan terms. WOOT!

My ex has been treating me like a human for a few days now. I think he's coming to term with things. Yesterday should have been our 10 year anniversary and I totally forgot which was awesome so I didn't need to be sad yesterday. Instead I was PISSED. I have a HTC Eris that is just over a year old. It hasn't been quite right since I got it and my ex told me I just didn't know how to use it because my last phone was a really basic flip phone with no data. Yesterday I took the phone into Verizon and told them what's been happening and they tried to do a memory wipe to fix it. After nearly 3 hours there with them working on it they couldn't get it to recognize the data. They finally pronounced it broken and ordered me a new one which should be here tomorrow. They handed me my phone back saying the phone and texting should work and sent me on my merry way. I got to Zarphin's house only to realize NOTHING works. I had a really expensive clock. I had to haul ass back to Verizon before they closed and after another hour of working on it I now have phone and texting. I feel naked with out my data. Zarphin was nice enough to let me take his car back to the store since he was changing my oil. I got back with a semi working phone to a lecture to never go that long with out changing my oil again. Oops. I thought synthetic lasted a lot longer.

I got to pic up my new set from the non-staff photographer I shot with a few weeks ago. He did the editing he planned on doing but I'm going to try a little more. I'm feeling very meh about this one but TaoAndCoffee thinks I should still submit it. Here's a preview, though this won't be going up for a while.
