Over a year had passed since my last post hoc, ergo proctor hoc snafu. This time, the fire alarms would sound while I adjusted the air conditioner settings in my new apartment. The alarms would stop after I lowered the air temperature, ran around in a panic, and attacked the smoke detector.
The 27-ish leasing agent asked me if I had encountered any problems during my first week of inhabitance. I told her about the fire alarms and the air conditioner. She told me about the surprise fire alarm inspection that, evidently, coincided with me touching my air conditioner.

you actually don't need to do that generally, when posting in journals because if i forget what i'd said to prompt your response, i'd just go back to your journal and check. that's way easier. you can just post your reply. and yes, i don't not mind them either.
