Well that's another VDay in the books that I'm glad is over. Don't get me wrong, I'm so very happy for everyone that had a great day. Valentines has always been shitty, for various reasons. The past 4, I've been "alone". The joys of having a partner that travels for work. This year was the first in 4 that we were in he same country for, but we had some major flooding in the city yesterday, so he had to work very late. So I ended up watching Dr Who and knit a CAP.

9 years ago today, I woke up in hospital. I was pushed down the stairs, and was knocked out. I was badly beaten. Before you get all angry at the guy who did it, he's dead. He needs no more recognition, other than the fact he's ruined vday for me.

I was unpacking some of my footwear tonight, & I realized, 1) I have really girly footwear) *sarcasm*, & 2) I'm missing a box of Converse chucks. Easily 8-10 pairs.

So my shoe "collection" hit me thinking if other things I collect. Obviously Mr. potato heads, but also......buttons!

This past week has been a whirlwind of emotions. I got some rather matter of fact reports from my specialist. We had to increase my chemo from once ever 2 weeks, to every week now. I'm starting to notice that I'm "shedding" now. Soooo glad it's TOQUE season. Basically I have another month of torture until I'm gutted like a fish. Yay! Fml. The support I've received from you people, is unreal! I hope to personally thank you in the future.

@grimjeepin, I'm still smiling. You got me to laugh my ass off & smile, in a way, I can honestly say no one has done. How many people can say they had someone make a video for them, of that someone making naked snow angels. All for a smile! You're insane.

@_sneaks_: you're awesome. A girls perspective on some issues I've been having is quite lovely. You're soo genuine & beautiful inside & out. @djdote is one lucky fella! Remember I'm flower girl!

@rubblerocks: you're my chemo companion! Go us! I seen a funny valentine yesterday, but i was afraid people would confuse my humour with being an ass, so I only sent it to one person. You will understand this.

Last, but certainly not least Mr. @elkcrazy32. I can't begin to thank you. I know you go above & beyond trying to convince me I'm as cute & sexy as you say. I'm sorry for making it such a chore.There's times I wish you would sugar coat stuff, but I'm glad you didn't. You call me out, when I need it. I feel honoured that you open up to me the way you do. The timing of when we crossed paths, couldn't have been planned better. You're my kick in the ass, pain in my ass, shoulder to cry on, ear to listen, reasoning, & friend. Not just a friend. Like you stated, family. Gosh I get soooo mushy gushy around you. You're simply amazing, and I'm honoured to call you my friend.
