Yeah I was on the phone to Cherry and heard Matt yell in the background as it happened. The footage is pretty disturbing to watch. Such a sad way to start the Olympics. I really feel for his family and teammates.

And what a rip-off: finally make it to the Olympics and die before you get to actually compete. Poor soul.
