After possibly the slowest summer of my life I return to college next Friday, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to it. This year I need to throw everything I have into not only passing the course, but at a high enough level that I can be taken seriously for degree applications next year. Nerves are abundant, but the idea...

This month is unrelenting so far, I've had three birthdays so far, got another three to go before my own. I'm so tired it's ridiculous, but onwards with the partying!

Your way was London on that Saturday i believe!
Eleven hours of train travel, fifty pounds on train tickets, twenty pounds on a hostel for an evening, ten pounds on an oyster car, a lot spent on alcohol, one hour of sleep in thirty six hours. Add this all together and you get the best night out I've had this year. Let it never be said that the people of SGUK don't know how...

I'm not normally one to be intimidated by travel, but the prospect of racing over London has me highly worried. Well if Jeremy Clarkson can make it I'm sure I can.
Any and all tips for first time visitors highly appreciated.

Then it's a piece of piss - buy yourself an Oyster card, pick up a Tube map and you're set. A pocket-sized A-Z would also be a sound investment. You'll be fine, ya big drama queen...

It was very good to meet you dude.
Sorry I've been kind of sucky around here lately, you'd think with all the free time and such I have I'd be able to reply to everyone and be more active and such but it seems the more time I have the less time I feel I have to use it.

I have a pair of friends who are off to Japan this year for the second time. They can't get enough of it.
Also, I would come to more meets, if I wasn't so shy.
I'll try.

Train travel is evil.
In the past six weeks I've been travelling in a perpetual triangle between Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Stirling. And it doesn't seem like life shall be slowing down any time soon, with trips back and forth planned for the rest of the month, and heading to London to visit the the lovely SGUK come August. It really is hard to be busy...

It's that time again when I reach out to you all and ask you one of the most important questions I ever ask anyone: Got anything good to read? Having just finished the last in a series that I care strongly for I am feeling pensive and require something new to add to my library. Preferably something with sequels as I tend to lock myself...

I was asking people for reading lists the other day, what sort of genre of book do you prefer reading?
I'm just re-reading the Val McDermid books, they're psychological thrillers and are very well written and suitably scary.
Or Labyrinth and Sepulchre by Kate Mosse, they take a bit of getting in to but I really enjoyed them both, sort of modern/fantasy at the same time with a split (but converging) plot line.

Thanks. And it wasn't meant to look serious. I just tend to take mean pictures

Yeah. My favourite's the crazy stuffed toys around the washing machine.

I'm actually very seriously considering something along those lines.

Or when I redeem it.
