I can relate more than you know- not so much on the bank thing, I i drained my funds entirely on my own...but on the miserably bad run of luck over the last two years. Random bullshit that no one would believe even if they saw it in a movie seems to be a lifelong theme in my existence, that's why so many people who are around me say "duuuuuude, you've GOT to write a book about your life."
Glad to know I entertain others, but wish it didn't have to cost me my sanity.

I was just coming back from the beach/Lakeshore.
I was gonna meet up with you guys for drinks Saturday but your wife didn't know where you were going and I ended up going to sleep at 11 anyway. Next time maybe.
It is a small world, reminds of when I lived in NYC and would see the same people all over the city and I'd think in a city of 9 million I only see these same people.
