It is funny being a tourist in your own country.
And did I ever mention how I love the sun...?
The old town and its ghost versions of a me that once was.
Everybody knows that, it's nothing new, but I'll never get over the fact that no-one ever realizes how they're missing something until they're faced with it again... In this case, I miss the old country in certain ways.
Of course, the reasons why I left in the first place are still around and grew stronger while I was away, but there are so many things that still are a big part of me there... so it's good to have a chance to just chill along the same streets you walked times and times again in your previous lives & times... the trick being not to fall into misplaced nostalgia.
Who knows, as time goes by and hopefully sees me grow wiser and quieter, I might decide to go back someday, because nothing beats an afternoon spent at a terrace in the sun watching people go by while thinking about the awesome Brouilly you're going to drink later while at a killer restaurant...
And finally, I want to add that it's beyond awesome to make someone who's getting bigger & bigger in your heart every day discover new places, scents, tastes while holding her hand and being able to simply enjoy the moment, peacefully.
I am a useless romantic.
You should all try to be one someday, it's great!

In other news I'm finally going to have the internet back at home, within the next two weeks. I signed up for broadband with aol and it makes me want to
