Today was a good day 
Although it's quite stressful at work right now because I'm pretty much in charge of the call centre - boss being on holiday - I'm doing quite well.
Been playing squash again afterwards (will try & go twice a week), that is such a good way to let your frustrations & rage out! Not too long ago, I would have been stupidly getting drunk instead, only making it worse in the long run
Finally, last but certainly not least, I've contacted all the major HR people of Ipsos-NA (= North America) today. CV + cover letter + flamboyant reference from one of the Ipsos UK directors
What now? I'm shitting myself... because one of these people may be my wild card out of the UK and into the USA. Just thinking about the next few days and waiting for their replies is beyond scary.
