I got these news on Saturday and... already received the new green card today (although they say it can take up to 60 days)
The best part is that, eventhough the permanent green card has a 10-year expiry date, it doesn't affect your status (like the conditional did). Translation: I can stay as long as I want
Man, I had a feeling 2009 was going to be a good year (despite the obvious economy/money hardship) and it starts with a bang!

it seems that the urge to live in the present is a common one to sing about. i can get behind that.
